OBÉLO operates as an independent artisan jewelry studio based in Los Angeles, California.
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
2. Nature of Our Work
Each OBÉLO piece is handcrafted, often made to order, and created with natural materials such as pearls, corals, and wire.
No two pieces are ever identical.
Natural variations in shape, texture, color, or surface are not flaws — they are part of the individuality of the work.
3. Orders & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on your U.S. shipping address. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.
We reserve the right to modify prices or discontinue products at any time without notice.
We accept all major credit cards. By placing an Order, you authorize OBÉLO or its third-party payment processor to charge the full amount due, including applicable taxes, using the payment information you provide.
Payments are processed securely. OBÉLO is not responsible for delays, errors, or fees imposed by your bank or payment provider. Sales tax is applied in accordance with California and applicable U.S. state laws. Any additional taxes or fees not collected at checkout remain the responsibility of the Customer.
4. Orders
Orders are placed through the Site’s checkout process and constitute an offer to purchase, which OBÉLO may accept or decline. An Order is considered accepted only after a confirmation email is sent.
If an Order cannot be fulfilled due to availability or payment issues, we will notify you and issue a refund if applicable.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all Order details, including shipping information and product selection. OBÉLO is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout.
4.1 No Modifications or Cancellations
Due to the bespoke, made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final. Orders cannot be modified or canceled once submitted. Please review your selections carefully before completing your purchase.
5. Shipping
Complimentary shipping is offered on all U.S. orders. OBÉLO ships exclusively within the United States.
Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be sent via email. OBÉLO is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control.
6. Returns & Exchanges
Each OBÉLO piece is handmade to order. For this reason, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges. This policy ensures that every creation is made with intention, care, and reverence.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Care Responsibility
Once your piece has been delivered, care and maintenance become the responsibility of the Customer. OBÉLO is not liable for damage resulting from wear, misuse, water exposure, chemicals, or improper storage.
Care instructions are provided for guidance and longevity.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including designs, images, text, and concepts — is the intellectual property of OBÉLO.
No part of this site or its content may be copied, reproduced, or used without explicit written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OBÉLO is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage occurring after an Order is handed over to the carrier. Risk of loss transfers to the Customer upon shipment.
OBÉLO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Site or Products. In no event shall OBÉLO’s total liability exceed the amount paid for the Order giving rise to the claim.
Claims regarding lost or damaged shipments may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but replacements or refunds are not guaranteed.

11. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Site, or the purchase of any OBÉLO product shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court.
Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
You and OBÉLO agree that each party may bring claims against the other only in their individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
Class actions, class arbitrations, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations are expressly waived.
The arbitrator may award relief only on an individual basis and only to the extent necessary to resolve the individual claim.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters related to intellectual property or unauthorized use of the Site.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
13. Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site if these Terms are violated.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this website.
